Works the same everywhere
- Open the gradebook for the right section, and create the assignment first if needed.
- Press Fill, then click any cell in the assignment’s column. You can also click the first cell, then press Fill.
- Review the matches and press Fill N grades.
- Check the coloured cells and press your gradebook’s Save.
Totals matter. If the source says 18/20 and your gradebook assignment is out of 20, you’re set. If they differ, Pro can rescale (see convert values), or set the gradebook assignment to the same total.
PowerSchool (PowerTeacher Pro)
- Open Grading › Scoresheet for the class and scroll to the assignment column.
- Press Fill and click any score cell in that column. Cells become editable as Gradeshuttle types, the same as when you click them yourself.
- PowerTeacher Pro uses codes such as Missing, Late and Exempt. Free skips those rows; Pro can type a value you choose.
- Press Save in PowerTeacher Pro when you’re done.
Infinite Campus
- Open Grade Book for the section and find the assignment column.
- Infinite Campus shows the gradebook inside a frame. Gradeshuttle handles frames automatically, so just click a score box in the column.
- Remember to Save in Campus.
Aspen, Synergy, Skyward and others
Open the gradebook’s scores view for the class, press Fill and click a score cell in the assignment column. For gradebooks that show only part of a long class list at a time, fill what’s visible, scroll, and press Fill again. Already-filled cells are skipped as “same”.
Canvas and Schoology as the gradebook
Some schools keep grades in the LMS itself. Open Grades (Canvas) or the course gradebook (Schoology), press Fill and click a cell in the assignment column.
Dropdown and rubric scores
If your gradebook uses a dropdown, for example rubric levels 1–4 or codes like M and EX, Gradeshuttle picks the matching option. Values that aren’t in the list are skipped and flagged “Not in list” in the review, so nothing wrong is chosen.
